Michael Anthony Mitchell
Mike is the founder of Body & Soul Adventures.
He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended high school in Ireland, he received a masters degree in Physical Education (Sports Psychology) was completed at
Chico State. Between the years of 1983 and 1985 he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger,
West Africa, where he played soccer for Equipe Espoir (Team Hope).
In 1994 he moved to Brazil to work as a Physical Education teacher and coach soccer at the
Escola Americana de Campinas in Sao Paulo.
Michael's passions include traveling (he has lived in four different continents) and playing
percussions. Michael is married and has a 6 year old son.
Malcolm Clark
Malcolm is Director of Yoga & Meditation at Body & Soul Adventures.
He grew up in South Eastern Australia, received a Sports Blue for excellence and outstanding
performance in Track and Field Athletics. He represented his State in Australian Football &
played with senior Australian Football teams before leaving high school. He declined sports
education scholarships in order to pursue dedicated tertiary studies, to graduate with a Bachelor
Business ( Management ) in 1984. He has studied and practiced Yoga and Meditation since a teenager,
applying the techniques to advanced performance and personal development. Malcolm has travelled the
world. His key Yoga and Meditation influence, for over 20 years now, has been in the teachings of
Eugene Halliday, the 20th Century English Artist and Mystic. For the past 7 years Malcolm has been
directing his own Yoga School, Melbourne Yoga, teaching every aspect of the original ideas and
practices behind the true Yoga traditions of India and Europe. He has developed his own Yoga style
called Field Yoga. He joins Body and Soul Adventures in 2008 to teach the latest and most advanced
Yoga & Meditation disciplines with guests and visitors – yoga purifications & diet, postures and
movements, breathing techniques, meditation techniques and philosophy. Guests are invited to bring
their Yoga needs and requirements to Body and Soul adventures, in the confidence they will return
home with something new and improved in their minds, hearts, and physical practice.
Denis Llaveria Quero
After working in many multinational companies in Sao Paulo, he joined BSA group in 2005.
He is the voice at the other end of the toll-free number and committed to helping you come to see
his beloved country.
His passions are World history, geography and of course... soccer!
